Keith G. "Coach" Gadsby

June 8, 1953 — December 7, 2021

Keith G. “Coach” Gadsby, 68 of Worth Twp, Stoneboro, passed away on December 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born on June 8, 1953 to Orville and the late Jean (Kilgore) Gadsby. He was a 1972 graduate of Lakeview High School and a 1976 graduate of Thiel College. While at Thiel he studied business and was a member of the wrestling team. Wrestling was very important to Keith and he was a wrestling coach for Lakeview and a wrestling official for many years.

Keith was a member of Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed hunting, farming, and being outdoors. He enjoyed helping others and was well known in his community and close to many. He was very proud of his four boys and adored his grandchildren and they were his world.


Keith married his beloved wife, Cathy (Campbell) Gadsby on September 2, 1972, she survives at home. The couple would have celebrated 50 years of marriage next year. He is also survived by his father, Orville, sons Jason (Cassie) Gadsby, Justin (Jessica) Gadsby, Adam Gadsby, and Tim (fiancé Kasey) Gadsby, all of Stoneboro, grandchildren Garrett, Grace, and Jackson Gadsby, Cassidy (Jayna) Gonzalez, Julia, and Josie Gadsby, and Reese Gadsby, sister Karen Gadsby, brother John (Ginny) Gadsby, brothers-in-law Eddie (Maxine) Campbell and Dave (Tamara) Campbell, sister-in-law Linda (Dale) Chisolm, and dear friend/cuz, Ryan McConnell.


In addition to his mother Keith was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Ed Campbell.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.


Funeral services will be private.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Keith’s name to the Mercer County 4-H Scholarship Fund, 463 N. Perry Hwy, Mercer, PA 16137.
