Kenneth Neal Stewart, Sr.

October 20, 1933 — July 4, 1994

Kenneth Neal Stewart, Sr., 60, retired in 1989 as controller of Allegheny College after 30 years of service.

Mr. Stewart of Meadville, died Monday, July 4, 1994, following a brief illness.

He was born in Erie, October 20, 1933, a son of Kenneth E. and Marjorie Stewart Stewart.  He married Sharon Jeannerett, March 1, 1986.  She survives.

In his retirement, he was a consultant of Gannon University.  He was a 1956 graduate of Allegheny College, 10-year member of the Crawford Central School Board, member of the Meadville Area Recreation Authority board, treasurer of Crawford County Industrial Development Authority (CCIDA) and a former barbershop singer.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Beth) Marshall of Hawaii; two sons, Kenneth N. Stewart, Jr. of Meadville and David Stewart of Johnstown; three step-daughters, Mrs. Eric (Dawn) Marvin of North Carolina, Mrs. Roger (Tracie) Harmon of Meadville and Michelle Kane of West Virginia; a step-son, Michael J. Kane of Germany; a step-mother, Betty Ann Stewart of Connecticut; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Jean) Lynch of Pittsburgh; a step-sister, Mrs. Mathew (Pat) Gourley of Connecticut; a step-brother, Kenneth E. Stewart of Florida; a grandchild; four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
