Kenneth O. Byham

Kenneth O. Byham, 68, of Guys Mills, died at Spencer Hospital, Sunday May 19, 1985, after a brief illness.

He was born in Guys Mills, October 16, 1916, a son of Rae M. and Ruth A. Oakes Byham.  He married Gladys Stanley July 15, 1939.  She died January 3, 1985.

He took disability retirement in 1978 from Goodyear Aerospace Co. after 25 years service.  He formerly had been a production employee at Taylor Co., Alliance, OH.

He was a member of East Goshen Friends Church, Goshen Township, Mahoning County, Ohio.  He was a graduate of Randolph High School, a USAF veteran of World War II, when he served during the occupation of Japan.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Clair (Marjorie) Burchard of Meadville; two brothers, Howard R. Byham of Guys Mills and Ralph A. Byham of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Goshen Cemetery.
