Kevin Lloyd Davis

Kevin Lloyd Davis, 54, of Ann Arbor, MI passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019.

He was born June 5, 1964 in Meadville, a son of John and Wilma Gee Davis.  He had been married to Pamela Braun Davis.

Kevin was a 1982 valedictorian graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, a 1987 graduate of Penn State University where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in chemistry, and a graduate of the University of Michigan with a PhD in chemistry.

He is survived by his parents, John and Wilma Davis of Conneaut Lake.  Kevin is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Carolyn and James Gillis, Annette and David Davis, Ethelyn Davis as well as numerous cousins.

Employed as a research scientist at Kaiser Optical in Ann Arbor, Kevin developed four patents and had numerous articles published in Scientific Journals.

Kind and compassionate, he will be missed by his family and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John (Jack) Davis; his paternal grandparents, Samuel J. and Mary E. Davis; and his maternal grandparents, Spencer E. and Bernadine R. Gee.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 29th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Henry Knapp, a childhood friend, officiating.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
