Kevin Wade George

Kevin Wade George, 48, of Meadville passed unexpectedly January 3, 2021.  He was born in Niles, MI November 27, 1972 a son of Daniel S. and Connie J. Powell George.  He grew up in Meadville and was a 1991 graduate of Meadville High School.  He attended Geneva Bible College and Cincinnati Christian University.  He married Carla Testi August 8, 2008 and she survives.

He worked for LuK Inc. in Wooster, OH, Plasma Automation and Kuhn Tool & Die both in Meadville.  He loved campfires and target shooting and he attended First Christian Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Carla, include: a sister, Kelli Granda (Don) of Meadville; aunts and uncles, Chuck Powell (Denise) of Linesville, Bette Funkhouser (Dale) of Linesville, Sherry Jones (Marlan) of Meadville and Jim Powell (Mary) of Greenville; their dog, Tig; two nephews, D.J. and Austin Granda and many cousins and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Powell and his paternal grandparents, Wade and Velma George.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
