Kimberly L. Smith, 44, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at her residence.
She was born December 13, 1962 in Butler County, the daughter of Paul “Pickle” and Pricilla Williams Vlassich. She married Laban E. Smith March 25, 1989 in Vernon Twp and he survives.
Kimberly was presently employed by Perkins Restaurant in Meadville where she has been a waitress for the past 24 years. She also helped her husband with his business, All Tune and Lube 15765 Conneaut Lake Road. She was of the Protestant faith and helped the Conneaut Lake Football Boosters. She was an avid New England Patriot fan, NASCAR fan, enjoyed cooking and time with her children and nieces.
In addition to her husband, Laban, she is survived by two sons, Jeremy P. Smith and Zach D. Smith both of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, Rick Vlassich and Kevin Vlassich both of Greenville; her mother-in-law, Ruth A. Smith of Conneaut Lake and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Vlassich and her father-in-law, Wellington D. Smith.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake. The funeral service will follow Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Christine Rogan, United Methodist Clergy, officiating.
