Kristy Lynn Miller

Kristy Lynn Miller, 29, of 17733 Rogers Ferry Rd., Meadville, died Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH following a six month courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 12, 1971 in Meadville, a daughter of Dale A. and Karen Britton Barnard.  She had been married to Brian Miller.

She was a 1990 graduate of Meadville High School and a 1994 graduate of the former J.H. Thompson Academy in Erie.  She was employed as a cosmetologist for Hair by Shades and Shapes and previously worked at the Hairitage Beauty Salon and Day Spa both of Meadville.  She attended Meadville Alliance Church.

Kristy’s happiest moments were with her children and she also enjoyed spending time with other family and friends.

Survivors include her parents of Meadville; two sons, Nathan Miller and Drake Williams both at home; Brian Williams (Drake’s father) of Meadville; a sister Shelly Walker and her husband Charles of Erie and a paternal grandfather, Dale Barnard, Sr. and his wife Sandy of Cape Cod, MA and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and a paternal grandmother.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main St., Meadville.

The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Jeff Conley and Rev. David Coddington, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
