Kurt Robert Swan

Kurt Robert Swan, 48, passed away in Wilkes Barre, PA on Thursday, June 25, 2015 after a long illness.

He was born in Meadville on April 20, 1967 the son of Allen C. Swan and Darleen J. Swan Brown.  Kurt attended school at United Local in Hanoverton, OH.  He was a talented artist, loved being in the outdoors and working with computers.

Kurt is survived by his parents, Allen C. Swan (Shirley) of Evansville, IN and Darleen J. Swan Brown (Charlie) of Meadville; two brothers, Richard A. Swan of Cochranton and William R. Swan (Lisa) of Meadville; two nephews, Charleston Swan of Cochranton and Zachary Swan of Meadville and a niece, Rylie Swan of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Allen O. and Nellie C. Swan and maternal grandparents, Robert and Bernice Droz.

Following cremation burial will be at Huber Cemetery.  A private memorial service will be held at the family’s convenience.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
