Kyle M. Thomas

Kyle Thomas, 92, of Meadville, died at City Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle while walking on Alden Street Extension.

He was born in East Fallowfield Township, November 30, 1890, a son of James and Elizabeth Abbott Thomas.  He was married in 1925 to Grace McGranahan, who died in 1958.  He was married in 1959 to Eleanor Plattner, who died in 1981.

He was employed as a lifetime farmer near Atlantic and retired from Freyermouth Feed Mill, Atlantic.

He was a member of East Fallowfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three step-sons, Ardie Plattner of Frost Proof, FL, Wayne Plattner of Maybee, MI and Clyde Plattner of Canton, MI; a step-daughter, Mrs. Violet Britton of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Porter's Corners Cemetery.
