Larry G. Burns

November 20, 1948 — July 29, 1983

Larry G. Burns, 34, of Hayfield Township, died Friday, July 29, 1983, at Veterans Administration Hospital, Erie, after an extended illness.

He was born at Meadville, November 20, 1948, a son of K. Gerald and Betty Conrad Burns.  He was married September 21, 1974, to Patricia McBryar.

He was a graduate of Saegertown public schools and he served in the Navy in the Vietnam War.

He had been on disability leave since 1981 from Avtex Fibers, Inc., where he was employed as a production worker.  He was a member of United Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer.  He was a charter member of the order of DeMolay and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Terri Burns of Greenville and Angela Burns at home; a son, Bradley at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Conrad of Hudson, FL; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burns of Meadville; his parents of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Gary (Kathleen) Shartle of Meadville and Mrs. James (Jacqueline) Kearns of Meadville; a brother, Michael Burns of Saegertown; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
