Larry Jude Ervin

Larry Jude Ervin, 25, of Denver, CO, formerly of Vernon Township, died Saturday, June 27, 1970, at Westminster, CO, following an auto-motorcycle accident.

He was born September 30, 1944, in Adamsville, a son of Julian F. and Hazel Rodgers Ervin.  Mr. Ervin was head of the mathematic department of the Golden School District in Colorado and was coach of the district's varsity basketball team.  He was previously employed as a teacher at General Eisenhower High School in Russell, PA.  Mr. Ervin was a 1962 graduate of Meadville Area High School and a 1966 graduate of Edinboro State College where he received a BS degree in education.  At the time of his death, he was working for his master's degree at the University of Northern Colorado.

Survivors include his parents, formerly of Meadville area, now residing in Allentown; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Donna) Dennis of Cochranton; a brother, Thomas Ervin of Boston and a niece and three nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rocky Glenn Cemetery.
