Laura Laibe

Mrs. Laura Laibe, 93, formerly of Meadville and a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, since 1968, widow of Lewis Laibe, died at Fort Lauderdale Friday, November 19, 1982, after an illness of several months.

She was born at Randolph Township, February 8, 1889, a daughter of Leon and Mary Brunot Berly.  Her husband died in 1948.

A 1908 graduate of Edinboro State Normal School, she was a member of St. George's Roman Catholic Church, Fort Lauderdale.

Survivors include a son, Alden (Al) Laibe of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche DeArment and Mrs. Marian Rosemond, both of Fort Lauderdale; two brothers, George and Edward Berly, both of Meadville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
