Laura R. Delamater

Mrs. Laura R. Delamater, widow of Albert L. Delamater, died Thursday morning at her home in Richmond Township following a long period of failing health.  She had been confined to her home since she sustained a broken leg on August 21.  She was 94.

She was born in Iowa but came to Crawford County in 1880 when she married Mr. Delamater.  She has lived since that time at Delamater Corners.  Mr. Delamater died in 1931.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maude Haynes; a grandson, Frederic W. Haynes of Richmond Township; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lyona Cemetery.
