Laura Rose Andrey

Laura Rose Andrey, 85, a resident of the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown and formerly of Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, December 19, 2001at her residence following a period of declining health.

She was born August 20, 1916 in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Willis R. and Beulah M. Buzzard McCardle.  She married William Bernard Andrey in 1935 and he preceded her in death October 11, 1980.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed family, friends, reading, and cooking.

She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Moundsville.

Survivors include a son, W. Bruce Andrey and his wife Brenda of Meadville; 2 grandchildren, Heather Lynn Andrey and Matthew Bruce Andrey; a brother, Howard A. McCardle of Reynoldsburg, OH; and one niece and two nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger W. McCardle and one nephew.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Crawford County Care Center, 20881 State Hwy 198, Saegertown.
