Lauren Elizabeth Gordon

Lauren E. Gordon, 23, of Guys Mills, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020.  She was born January 30, 1997 in Meadville a daughter of Gary L. and Diane M. Poux Gordon.  She was a 2015 graduate of Maplewood High School and cosmetology program at the Crawford County Career and Technical Center.

She worked as a waitress at Cracker Barrel Restaurant, as a bartender at the ICC and at Country Kidz Day Care in Townville.  She loved horses and being with her friends.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Diane Gordon of Guys Mills; a sister, Wendy Gordon of Meadville; two brothers, Matthew Gordon of Townville and Adrian Gordon of Guys Mills; two nieces, Harley Bolvin (Devin) of Guys Mills and EmmaLynne Burger of Conneaut Lake and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Betty Gordon and Richard and Eleanor Poux; an aunt, Susan Yanc and a cousin, Whitney Poux.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville with CDC guidelines for social distancing and the wearing of masks is requested.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 30th at 11 a.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville with Rev. Cliff Forbes, officiating.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, PA 16335 or Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
