Lawrence L. Proper

Lawrence L. Proper, 66, of Saegertown, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Meadville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

He was born In Titusville a son of Clarence L. and Evelyn B. Smith Proper.

He was a high school graduate and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force.  He worked as a machinist at GE in Erie.

He is survived by two brothers, Clarence Proper Jr. and Craig Proper both of Franklin.

A graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at East Troy Cemetery, Troy Twp., Crawford Co., with Rev. Tim Solomon, Pastor of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
