Lee H. Johnson

Lee H. Johnson, 79, of Meadville, died at his home at about Monday, July 10, 1961, following a long illness.

He was born at Mt. Hope, December 30, 1881, a son of Henry and Harriett A. Oakes Johnson and lived in that area until moving to Meadville about 16 years ago.

Mr. Johnson married the former Pearl Wright January 28, 1903.  He was employed as a farmer before moving to Meadville he was employed by the City Park Department before retiring about eight years ago.  He was a member of Mt. Hope Grange.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a brother, A. Bert Johnson of Kane and several nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
