Lee S. Sikes, 84, of Meadville, died at Flickinger's Convalescent Home Sunday, February 11, 1968, after a two-month illness. He had been at the home since January 16.
Mr. Sikes was born February 7, 1884, in Guys Mills, a son of Wolcott and Estella Selby Sikes. He married the former Mabel S. Stevens July 12, 1911.
He was a flagman for 42 years with the Erie Railroad, and retired in December 1950. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Robert and Donald, both of Meadville and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
