Lela M. Graham

Mrs. Lela M. Graham, 87, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Wednesday, February 25, 1970, following a stroke Friday, February 20.

She was born in Crawford County November 3, 1882, a daughter of Edgar and Elatha Oakes Britton.  She married Lee I. Graham, November 18, 1903.  He died October 25, 1959.

Mrs. Graham was employed for 10 years during the 1940s at Polk State School and Hospital.  She was a member of Cooperstown United Presbyterian Church and was an honorary member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ray T. (Rouene) Smith of Meadville; one sister, Miss Martha Britton of Tavares, FL; one granddaughter, Miss Theo R. Smith; five sisters-in-law, five nephews and seven nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
