Lena M. Kern

Mrs. Lena M. Kern, 88, former resident of the Presbyterian Home in Cambridge Springs, died Friday, December 24, 1965, at Warren State Hospital.

Mrs. Kern was born in Saegertown on March 12, 1877, to William and Lucretia Spencer Willard.  She married Frank M. Kern in 1920.  He preceded her in death.

A member of the Presbyterian Church in Mitchell, SD, Mrs. Kern was raised and educated in Saegertown schools before moving to South Dakota.  She returned to the area in 1960.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Mildred Williard of Meadville and a nephew, John W. Tracy of Meadville.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
