Mrs. Lenora Linton, 63, of Meadville, died Friday, July 2, 1971, at Spencer Hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday. She had been ill for three months.
She was born in Woodcock Township September 2, 1907, a daughter of Jefferson and Laura Clay Powell. She was first married to Earl Davison and subsequently married Mr. Fred E. Lingo on January 1, 1937. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Kalazamoo Sales and Service which she and her husband have operated for the past 15 years. She previously was employed by Talon, Inc., for 20 years. Mrs. Linton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Lippert of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Charles W. Powell of Meadville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Richard Davison of Meadville; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Richard Davison; two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
