Leo F. Talbot

Leo F. Talbot, 80, of Meadville, PA, died December 4, 2008 in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born September 20, 1928 in Louann, Arkansas, a son of the late Frank V. and Wanda May Courtney Talbot.  He married Barbara Gill June 12, 1950.

He was employed as an airplane mechanic for 35 years, retiring from the Beaver County Airport, Beaver County, PA.  He previously worked for the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad, Meadville, PA.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Barbara, include a daughter, Genevieve McKalip and her husband Bob of Conneaut Lake, PA; a son, Leo Talbot, Jr. and his wife Mary of Cochranton, PA; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are today (Friday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake, PA.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery, Adamsville, PA.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
