Leon C. Braymer, 82, died Friday, May 18, 1962, at the Odd Fellows Home at Grove City following a six-week illness.
He was born in East Mead Township and spent the early part of his life near Blooming Valley. For most of his married life, he lived at Union City. He lived with his granddaughter, Mrs. Earl L. (Gwengolyn) Stevens in Conneautville, for 10 years before moving to the home.
He was a member of Harmonsburg Methodist Church and formerly was a member of Union City Methodist Church.
He was past noble grand of Clement Lodge, IOOF, at Union City Encampment and Irene Rebekah Lodge, Conneautville. He was a member of Dicksonburg, Pomona, state and national granges.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Stevens, are another granddaughter, Mrs. George J. (Gertrude) Kapplinger of Colorado Springs, CO; a grandson, Gilbert Harriman of Union City; and six grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
