Leon C. Nageotte

April 24, 1854 — November 5, 1942

Leon C. Nageotte, 88, died Thursday morning after a brief illness at the home of his niece, Mrs. Zita Brenot of Frenchtown.

For about 35 years early in his life, he resided in Elk County, where he was engaged in the lumber business, but the rest of his life had been in this community.  Mr. Nageotte was a member of St. Hippolyte R. C. Church at Frenchtown.

He is survived by a daughter and four sons, Mrs. George Findley, Leroy, Alvin and Leonard Nageotte, all of Meadville and Guys of Frenchtown; by a brother, Stephen Nageotte of Saegertown and by twenty-two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Agatha's R. C. Cemetery.
