Leona Mildred Householder

Leona Mildred Householder, 85, of 18558 State Hwy 86, Saegertown, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Barnesville, OH June 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Roy C. and Myrtle Young Wallace.  She married Evron Leroy Householder November 3, 1942 and he survives.

She was a homemaker and had worked at the American Viscose in her younger years and Talon during World War II.  She enjoyed crafts and gardening and was a member of Wayland Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 64 years, include 4 daughters, Patricia Huson and her husband Richard of Saegertown; Barbara Goza and her husband Granville of Saegertown; Linda Householder of Tionesta; and Debra Phelps and her husband Ronald of Meadville; 2 sons, Gary Householder and Dennis Householder, both of Saegertown; a sister, Zelda Bigusiak of Meadville; 2 brothers, Lloyd Wallace and Wilmer Wallace, both of Sheakleyville; Jodi Barr, whom she babysat all of her formative years and her husband Tim of Saegertown; 13 grandchildren, Keith, Trisha, and Scott Huson, Granville Goza, IV, Jeffery Goza, Cheryl Burlingame, Eric, Brock, Ty, and Troy Householder, James Wolfgang, Stacey Darling, and Evron Wolfgang; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Delbert and Wilber Wallace and 2 great-grandsons, Eric Jay Householder and Kirklyn Householder.

Calling hours are today (Wednesday) from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Levan officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
