Leonard A. Hood

Leonard A. (Steve) Hood, 50, manager of the Meadville Co-operative Assn., of Meadville, died at City Hospital yesterday, five and a half days after he was struck by a car while walking along Route 77, a mile south of Blooming Valley. Mr. Hood had been manager of the Meadville Co-operative Assn. since the fall of 1941. He came here as assistant manager of the Co-op in 1939, from Saegertown where he had been employed in a feed mill. Born in Greenwood Township, where he spent his early life, Mr. Hood was a member of the Blooming Valley Methodist Church and Meadville's Cussewago Lodge IOOF. Among known survivors are his widow, Mary and a brother, Christy of Conneautville. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Rocky Glenn Cemetery. Services Past Services
