Leonard R. Conrad

Leonard R. Conrad, 90, of Avon Park, FL, formerly of Meadville, a machinist, died Sunday, February 27, 1994, at the Oaks Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health.

He was born in Meadville, October 30, 1903, a son of Edward and Elizabeth Messerall Conrad.  He married Catherine Prenatt.  She preceded him in death October 2, 1987.

He was a machinist employed with Westinghouse of Meadville.  He was of Methodist faith.

Survivors include six daughters, Doris Wilkinson of Wood Dale, IL, Lois Bulger of Avon Park, Betty Burns of Meadville, Shirley Feldmiller of Melbourne, FL, Janis Manross of Mooresville, NC, and Scarlett Stainbrook of Troutman, NC; 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, two brothers, a daughter and two grandsons.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
