Lester Vogan Randall, 74, of Meadville, died Monday, January 11, 1965, at Smith Institute, Saegertown, after an illness of two years.
She was born in Fairfield Township, September 6, 1890, a son of William and Sarah Vogan Randall. He and the former Agnes Henry were married May 27, 1914.
A breeder of Ayrshire cattle, he lived for 20 years at Mt. Hope where his farm was called Crystal Ayr Farm. He was an active member of Northwestern Pennsylvania Ayrshire Club. Mr. Randall continued to operate his farm until his illness. Previously, he had been a teamster at Stoneboro and a construction worker for American Viscoes Corp.
He was a member of Mt. Hope Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. L. Raymond (Frances) Holbrook; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Peterson of Erie and Mrs. Florence Reider of Meadville; two brothers, Edwin D. Randall of Meadville and Lawrence Randall of Erie; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mumford Chapel Cemetery, Fairfield Township.
