Lettie B. Decker

Lettie B. Decker, 90, of Meadville, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville following a period of declining health.

She was born January 15, 1919 in Meadville, a daughter of the late James and Marguerite DeRoss Frazier.  She married Charles B. Decker August 1, 1953 and he preceded her in death August 2, 1992.

Lettie was employed as a district manager for Copper Craft Guild and previously worked at Montgomery Wards and Talon.  She enjoyed flower gardening and collecting ceramic frogs and bird houses.

She was a former member of Park Congregational Church, Meadville.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Sharon Lalli of Meadville and Carla Muddiman and her husband Charles of Meadville; 2 sons, Robert Roche and his wife Harriett of Chesapeake, VA and Richard Roche of Meadville; a brother, Carl Frazier of Myrtle Beach, SC; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Schroeder; a grandson, Robert Roche, Jr.; and a brother, James Frazier, Jr.

Calling hour will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral and committal service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. John F. Bargar, United Methodist Church Clergyman officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
