Lewis G. Setta, Sr., 63, of Guys Mills, died Wednesday, January 29, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Setta was born in Pittsburgh, August 14, 1922, a son of Joseph and Frances Setta. He married Jean M. Kirk, November 14, 1942. She preceded him in death, September 6, 1985.
He retired from Avtex Fibers, Inc. September 1, 1983, as a spinner after 43 years of service. He was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church and was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Army, European Theater.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis G. Setta, Jr. of Meadville and Scott O. Setta of Guys Mills; one sister, Mrs. John (Barbara) Seljack of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Joseph Setta of Cambridge Springs and Anthony Setta of Townville; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
