Lida M. Dodds

Lida M. Dodds, 94, who had been a patient at the United Methodist Nursing Home since March 1968, died at the hospital unit of the home Tuesday morning, April 13, 1976, after a short illness.

Born in Dawson, Fayette County, on April 26, 1881, she was a daughter of John F. and Catherine McGill Victor.  On October 16, 1913, she married Charles T. Dodds who died in 1973.  Mrs. Dodds was a registered nurse, having been graduated from McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing.  She did nursing service in McKeesport, Uniontown and Pittsburgh areas and for four years at Hillside Home in Meadville.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Stueben Grange.

Survivors, include two sons, John T. of Meadville and Charles H. of Saegertown; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Reiter of Tampa, FL; a brother, David Victor of Fairmount, WV; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
