Lila R. Sebring

Lila R. Sebring, 90, formerly of Oil City and a resident of United Methodist Nursing Home and Hospital since February 1971, died at the home Wednesday, September 23, 1981, following an extended illness.

She was born at Knox Dale, Jefferson County, October 16, 1890, a daughter of David and Sarah Rhoads Myers.  She married J. Clayton Sebring, April 21, 1910.  He died August 1, 1969.

Mrs. Sebring was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Oil City, United Methodist Women, Missionary Circle and 50th Club of Oil City.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Marian) Elcano of Alexandria, VA and two sons, James K. of Madison, OH and Harold of Fairfax, VA.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
