Lillian B. DeRemer, 71, of Conneautville, died Friday, October 30, 1998 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, following an extended illness.
She was born in Harmonsburg, October 22, 1927, a daughter of Michael and Pearl Klynowska Bigusiak. She married William E. DeRemer October 13, 1951 and he survives.
She reitred in 1997 as secretary and clerk of the Meadville State Police Barracks after 29 years of service. She was a graduate of Meadville High School, a member of AFSCME Local #2101 and a member of the Retired State Police Assoc. She especially loved her family, co-workers, and job and had a fondness for pets.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Darcel L. (Darcee) Holt of Meadville; two sons, Marshall (Scott) DeRemer of Conneautville and William A. DeRemer of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Smock of Meadville; three grandchildren, Cherie, Meghan and Jackie DeRemer; three step-grandchildren, Brian, Tim and Michael Hannigan and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Steve, Andy, Mike and Charles and two sisters, Edna Parks and Mary McCracken.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
