Lillian M. Smith

August 30, 1880 — January 1, 1753

Miss Lillian M. Smith, 65, Meadville resident until recently, died at Hamot Hospital in Erie Friday afternoon a few hours after she suffered a stroke at the home of her isister, Mrs. E. E. McGill of Erie.

Born at Harmonsburg, she spent most of her life in Meadville, and for many years made her home here with her sister, Mrs. Jessie B. McGill.  For nearly 30 years she was a clerk for the Crawford County Drygoods Co.  She was a member of Stone Methodist Church.

Surviving besides Mrs. Jessie McGill and Mrs. E. E. McGill are two other sisters, Mrs. Andrew Carnegie of Akron and Mrs. Nan Scowden of Farrell and one brother, George W. Smith of Sharpsville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Harmonsburg Cemetery.
