Lillian Nageotte

January 26, 1905 — May 5, 1972

Mrs. Lillian Nageotte, 67, of Jamestown, NY, formerly of Venango County, died suddenly Thursday, May 5, 1972, at WCA Hospital, Jamestown.  Mr. and Mrs. Nageotte were preparing to move to Meadville.

She was born at Breedtown, Venango County, January 26, 1905, a daughter of David and Julia Turner Buchanan.  She married Mr. Roy Nageotte in 1926.  Mrs. Nageotte had been employed as a clerk in the Eckerd drug store in Jamestown.  She was a member of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church, Jamestown.  She had lived in Jamestown for 32 years.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Cora) Meals of Land-O-Lakes, FL and Mrs. Harold (Hazel) Brown of Gibsonton, FL and several nieces and nephews, including a nephew in Meadville.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ray Proper of Titusville and a brother, Cleo Buchanan of Peoria, IL.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
