Lillian Nodler

Lillian Nodler, 84, of Meadville, a schoolteacher, died Thursday, January 6, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Meadville, May 20, 1909, a daughter of John and Mabel Kiser Hamilton.

She was a social studies teacher at Meadville High School for 42 years.  She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and was a 50-year member and past president of the church's Altar Guild.  She was a graduate of Allegheny College.  She was a charter member of the Crawford County Humane Society at its founding in 1952 and was treasurer since 1963.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Muriel) Test of Sebring, FL, Mrs. Marvin (Mabel) Dawson of Saginaw, MI and Mrs. Daniel (Mary) Bluxome of Meadville and four nieces and a nephew.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment of cremated remains was in the columbarium at Christ Episcopal Church, Meadville.
