Lillian Stainbrook

Lillian Stainbrook, 92, formerly of Meadville and Conneaut Lake, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Emeritus at Green Mountain in Lakewood, CO.  She entered Assisted Living on May 6 after living with her son in Hawaii the past two years.

She was born in Gassaway, WV March 27, 1920 a daughter of Harry E. and Martha Mae (Scott) Woodley.  She married Dale F. Stainbrook September 5, 1942 and he preceded her in death August 6, 2009.

She was a graduate of Bellington High School, Bellington, WV and then she worked first at Talon Inc. and then as a cook at the Crawford County Vocational Technical School.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors, include: a daughter, Lois Dougherty and her husband Thomas of Hatfield, PA; two sons, Douglas D. Stainbrook of Kona, HI and Dean W. Stainbrook and his wife Linda of Carson City, NV; five grandchildren, Nathan Dougherty and his wife Darci, Lauren Gentry and her husband Scott, Aletha Stainbrook, Weston Stainbrook and Lili Stainbrook and a great granddaughter, Lucy Gentry.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials be made to Stone United Methodist Church, 956 S. Main Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
