Linda Kay Noel

Linda Kay Noel, 75, of Saegertown, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at her residence following a sudden illness.

She was born June 19, 1947 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Robert and Mildred McCollim Noel.  She had been married to Raymond Waid.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Meadville High School and attended Edinboro State Teachers College.  She was owner and operator of The Fish Bowl in Meadville and was currently employed at Abbatron.

Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, making Mimis, spending time at her cabin in Tionesta, and tracing and recording the family genealogy.  She especially loved being actively involved in her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events.

She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Shuffstall (Bradley Pizer) of Cochranton and Lori Waid (Bruce Findley) of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Justin Shuffstall (Kelly), Emily Shuffstall (Daniel Cohen), Adam Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Meghan Findley, Nicholas Findley, and Kirsten Findley Cessna (Dane); a brother, Robert Noel (Peg); a special nephew, David; and two special great-nieces, Nicole and Sara.

Calling hours will be Thursday, November 10th from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
