Linda Louise Hanna

Linda Louise Hanna, 74, of Meadville, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 16, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 26, 1947 in Rushville, NE, a daughter of Lester B. and Florence O. Graeber Shepard.  She married Kenneth L. Hanna May 19, 1969.

Linda attended Atlantic Airline School and was a homemaker.  She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church where she formerly served as the choir director, Sunday School teacher, and various other capacities.

Linda enjoyed scrap booking, church music and working with children.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Ken, include two daughters, Rebecca Ahne of Prince Frederick, MD and Kelly Wright (Jeff) of Cochranton; a son, Gary Hanna (Jennie) of Alexandria, VA; a grandson, Cole Wright; three sisters, Julia Ryan of Meadville, Jane Williams (Richard) of Las Vegas, NV, and Lois Farmer of Newnan, GA; a brother, James Shepard of Las Vegas, NV; a sister-in-law, LaVera Shepard of Rushville, NE; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son and two brothers, Thomas and Allen Shepard.

Family and friends will be received Monday, December 20th from 2-5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Gerald Walton, Pastor, officiating.  The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/fbcmeadvillepennsylvania

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
