Linda M. Brady

Linda M. Brady, 68, of Meadville died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was born in Meadville March 23, 1949 a daughter of Martin and Harriette (Betty) Knickerbocker Hansen. She married E. Scott Brady February 14, 1988 and he survives. She was a 1967 graduate of Meadville High School and then the New Castle Business College. Over the years, she worked as an executive secretary at Talon Inc., managed Timbercrest Apartments, operated her own bookkeeping business and then worked with her husband in his oil and gas leasing business and then with him as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. She was a very creative crafter also enjoying sewing and cross stitch. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Scott, of 29 years, include: her mother, Harriette (Betty) Hansen of Meadville; a sister, Brenda Andrey and her husband W. Bruce of Meadville; a nephew, Matthew Andrey of Meadville and a niece, Heather Morrrell of Meadville. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Hansen. Private family services will be held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with the Rev. Gerald Walton, Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut Street or Yolanda G.
