Lloyd Kenneth Smock, 86, of Vernon Township, a retired gas station operator, died Monday, March 28, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center after a period of failing health.
He was born in Guys Mills, February 18, 1908, a son of Curtiss and Iva Cutshall Smock. He married Harriet Corey, March 28, 1931. She preceded him in death July 8, 1986.
He retired in 1972 as operator of Smock's Suncoco. He also had been an auto mechanic at several locations. He was an avid gardener and fisherman.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Val (Karen) Eiler of Meadville; two sons, Ronald R. Smock and Donald L. Smock, both of Meadville; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Arden Smock; a grandson; a sister, Mabel MacLeod and a brother, Ralph C. Smock.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
