Lloyd Ray Holbrook

Lloyd Ray Holdbrook, 69, of Vernon Township, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL, Tuesday, September 1, 1981.

He was born at Coeburn, VA, August 11, 1912, son of Cyrus and Priscilla Grear Holbrook.  He married Frances A. Rundall, July 13, 1936.

Mr. Holbrook retired in 1973 as a machine shop foreman at Channellock Inc.  He was employed for a brief period at Talon and farmed part-time in Randolph Township.  He was a member of First Baptist Church and Vernon VFD.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Hogan of Meadville, Mrs. David (Sharon) Laveley of O'Fallon, IL and Miss Kristi Holbrook of Philadelphia; three sons, Emory L. of Meadville, Paul D. of Chambersburg and Mark R. of Charleston, SC; three sisters, Mrs. Chloe Boyle of Meadville, Mrs. Dona Stallard of Meadville and Mrs. Thomas (Eva) Guy of Hobbs, NM; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
