Lois C. Santner

Lois C. Santner, 87, formerly of Meadville, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since October 1996, died there Tuesday, May 13, 1997 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Claridge, PA, February 7, 1910, a daughter of the late John O. and Emma Wanamaker Whiteman.  She married Edward H. Santner, December 24, 1929.  He preceded her in death October 21, 1958.

Mrs. Santner was a school teacher at the Brookhauser School, Saegertown or 18 years retiring in 1975.  She was a member of Lake Lutheran Church, Conneaut Lake, a 1927 graduate of Jeanette High School and attended Indiana Normal School.

Survivors include three sons, Lynn E. Santner of Pelham, MA, A. Dale Santner of Conneaut Lake and Jon C. Santner of Meadville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Jeannette Memorial Cemetery, Jeannette, PA.
