Lois Claire Kirk

Lois Claire Kirk, 91, of Guys Mills, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born January 28, 1927 in Natrona Heights, a daughter of Thomas James and Mary Dorothy Skillen Slack.  She married David A. Kirk July 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death November 6, 2011.

A homemaker, Lois was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed quilting and making teddy bears and other stuffed toys.  A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, family was the most important thing to her.

Survivors include four children, Pamela Bomboy (Barry) of Richmond, VA, Andrew Kirk of Independence, CA, Daniel Kirk of Denver, CO and Albert Kirk (Theresa) of Portage, IN; two grandchildren, Erin and Joseph; two step-grandchildren, Danielle and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Dustin, Autumn and Vivian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Louise Schick and two brothers, Thomas and Robert Slack.

Private family interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
