Lois E. Weeks

Lois E. Weeks, 94, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, widow of Homer C. Weeks, died Wednesday, October 15, 1986, at Wesbury following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Weeks was born in Pickering, MO, August 10, 1892, a daughter of Reuben and Edith Miller Cory.  She married Homer C. Weeks, June 27, 1914.  He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church and Conneaut Center Grange.  She was a graduate of Omaha, NE and was a school teacher in various schools in western Nebraska.  She also taught Sunday School at various churches for 50 years.  She was a former choir director at Wesbury.

Survivors include one son, the Rev. Alan Weeks of Bancroft, MI; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Doris) Waring of Linesville and Mrs. Wayne (Carol) Plattner of Maybee, MI; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Linesville Cemetery.
