Lois H. Greenlee

Lois H. Greenlee entered the gates of Heaven and was reunited with her beloved husband, Jim, March 9, 2021. She was born in 1936, daughter of Arthur and Bessie Hicks. Lois married her husband, James C. 'Jim' Greenlee March 26, 1959. After graduating from Lakeview High School, Lois had many jobs through her lifetime, beginning at the Bell Telephone Company. However, her most cherished time was spent caring for her grandson, Joel. Lois was a member of The Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church. She loved her church and dearly treasured her visits with Pastor Beth. Surviving is her son, James C. “Chris” Greenlee and wife Kimberly, Greenville, PA; Daughters, Lela A. Cruz and husband Raymond, Chesapeake, VA and Lizbeth A. Werner and husband Lawrence, Irwin, PA. Also surviving is her brother David 'Mickey' Hicks, Sandy Lake, PA; Four grandchildren: Joel Greenlee, Alexa and Elise Cruz, and Lacie Werner. In addition to her parents, her siblings: Mildred Coursen, Alvin Hicks, Vera Ewing, and Donald Hicks along with her true companion, Holly Angel preceded her in death. Lois always said that there wasn’t anything better than an ice cream cone. Please have your favorite ice cream cone in her memory! Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
