Lora Clarke

Mrs. Lora Clarke, 68, of Vernon Township, died Monday, February 2, 1970 at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, NY, where she had been a patient since January 15.  She had been ill for several months.

She was born at Punxsutawney, January 23, 1902, a daughter of H. Burt and Hattie Lenhart Sprankle.  She married Cy H. C. Clarke in June 1955.

For 14 years Mrs. Clarke assisted her husband in operating the Cy Clarke Claims Service.  Together, they also operated the Loral Court Motel on the Conneaut Lake Road.  Previous to this, Mrs. Clarke worked as secretary and bookkeeper for several Chrysler dealerships in Meadville.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one sister, Mrs. Perry (Mary) Wehr of West Palm Beach, FL and one nephew, Neal Wehr of Mill Neck, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
