Lora K. Dunn

Mrs. Lora K. Dunn, 72, of Meadville, died Tuesday, March 12, 1968, at City Hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.

She was born in Ripley, WV, January 16, 1896, a daughter of Delmer E. and Laura Elizabeth Corbin Kessell.  She married J.M. Dunn May 29, 1930.

Mrs. Dunn taught school in West Virginia before moving to Meadville.

She was a member of Stone Methodist Church, the Mariott Bible Class of the church and a member of the board of directors of the church Women's Society of Christian Service.

She also was a member of the Meadville Woman's Club and its garden division, the Rota Literary Society and a 50-year member of the Ripley chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. William (Nancy) Beutel of Lorian, OH and Mrs. Robert C. (Naomi) McCormick of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Wade and James, both of Ripley and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, WV.
