Mrs. Lotta B. Mason, 90, of Meadville, died suddenly Friday, January 28, 1972, at the Methodist Nursing Care Hospital where she had been a patient for six weeks.
She was born at Meadville on September 30, 1881, a daughter of Clark and Nellie Dawes Bernard. She was the widow of Edward Mason who died in 1936. Mrs. Mason was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and the Beacon Light Class of the church and taught Sunday school in the junior department for many years. She was a graduate of Chautauqua Reading Circle.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard A. (Ruth) Miller of Meadville and Mrs. Waldo (Cornelia) Plecker of Cortland, OH; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Browning of Meadville; and four grandchildren, Georgine and Diane Plecker and Douglas and Janice Miller.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville.
