Mrs. Lotus M. Messerall, 70, wife of Floyd Messerall of Meadville died Tuesday at City Hospital. She had been ill about a year.
Born in Blooming Valley, a daughter of Joseph and Ida Hart Anderhalt, she spent her early life in Wayne Township. She was a graduate of Cochranton High School and Edinboro State Normal School.
She taught school in Wayne Township and resided in Oil City for seven years after her marriage. She moved to Meadville to 1924. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and the church Sunday School.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Maxine at home; three sons, Hudson E. of Waukegan, IL, Elwin F. of Ashtabula, OH and Paul Durward of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; three brothers, Charles R. Anderhalt of Cochranton, Athelston J. of Meadville and Russell L. of Cleveland.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
